Publications
Our Directory is distributed to 3,500 individuals. Every member is listed on the Chamber’s online business directory. The Chamber’s web site receives approximately 52,000 visitors annually, providing added exposure. In addition, the Chamber can announce your events on our bi-monthly electronic e-mail broadcast (NewsFLASH) which goes to more than 800 individuals. Our Business Talk publication is distributed to approximate 650 individuals and is printed bi-monthly. We also supply an area map with opportunities for chamber member advertisements.

Hot Deals/Eagle One Discount Card
Offer deals to chamber members or the entire community. The Eagle One Discount Card is a program where all Ypsilanti Chamber Members, EMU Facility, Students and Alumni receive discounts to local businesses. The Hot Deals Program are discounts that are listed on the Chamber’s web site that everyone can take advantage of. Contact the Chamber to add your hot deal. Auto Owners Insurance Premium Discounts
Members of the Ypsilanti Chamber of Commerce are eligible for discounts on their business insurance policies. Business owners and employees are eligible for 10% to 12% discounts on auto, home and umbrella liability insurance premiums. Additional discounts may also apply.

Employee Assistance Program:
The Ypsilanti Area Chamber of Commerce offers a low-cost Employee Assistance Program (Open Door EAP) through T.E.A.M. (Total Employee Assistance & Management, Inc). The EAP provides confidential assistance for employees and their family members to help them resolve any concerns that are affecting their personal or work life? EAP is offered to Ypsilanti Area Chamber of Commerce members through T.E.A.M. The staff consists of experienced counseling professionals, who are qualified and skilled in assisting people with a wide variety of personal and work-life challenges. T.E.A.M. provides crisis intervention 24 hours/day, 365 days/year. Appointments to meet face-to-face with a counselor are scheduled promptly, and are available at different times throughout the day and evening. The Ypsilanti Area Chamber of Commerce also offers a drug-free workplace program for Chamber members (Drugs Don’t Work) in which employers are assisted in developing their own comprehensive program for eliminating substance abuse in their workplace.

Workshops/Business Assistance (SBTDC):
Build your skills and knowledge, and train your staff, at special seminars and annual programs designed for Chamber members. The SBTDC can offer our members prospect lists (up to 100 B to B prospects for free). They can offer 1 hour consultations at no cost. They also offer our Chamber members a discounted rate to join any of the SBDTC’s seminars on marketing, finance, and vision-to-reality (cost would be less than $35). They can also offer our members an assessment on their work plan (what’s working, what’s not and how to make a work plan with the top three issues that need to be dealt with at your business). This is a $500 value and is FREE to our members.
