Economic Development Base.
Quality Workforce
The Education Division goal is to enhance the development of a world-class
workforce in the greater Ypsilanti Area. To that end, it does the following:
Better Small Business Legislation
The Public Policy Division advocates for business and quality government at all
levels and supports or opposes issues that affect the business community.

Facilitates citizen involvement in government and school boards through the
Candidate Training School.

Keeps the community informed by conducting informational forums on governmental
topics such as political candidacy, ballot proposals and timely issues.
Strong Economic Development Base
The Chamber participates in local economic development efforts to strengthen
the business community and retain and expand the job base.
